Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of wcomob.com, event registration, and the WCO MOB plugin for ChatGPT. By using the site or the plugin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Who can use the service

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the site. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password and two-factor authentication secure, and for activity that happens under your account.

Accounts

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, disrupts an event, or creates a security or safety risk. You can request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. Some records, such as completed orders, may be retained as described in our privacy policy.

Events, registrations, and payments

  • Event listings and ticket availability can change. A registration is not confirmed until we accept it and, where required, payment is received.
  • Payments are made by Interac e-Transfer and are reconciled manually. Follow the payment instructions shown at checkout and include the order reference so we can match your payment.
  • Refunds, transfers, and cancellations are handled under the policy for the specific event and at the organizer’s discretion, subject to applicable law.
  • Event participants must follow the event rules, safety instructions, and any age or eligibility requirements. Participation may require a separate waiver at the event.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and adapt that content as needed to operate the site and promote WCO MOB events. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use;
  • scrape, overload, or interfere with the site or another person’s use of it;
  • upload malware, spam, unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
  • use the service to violate any applicable law.

Plugins and MCP connections

The WCO MOB plugin lets ChatGPT use MCP tools to read and change data in your account. Connecting the plugin authorizes those actions for the access you grant. You are responsible for reviewing what you ask the plugin to do, and OpenAI’s terms also apply to your use of ChatGPT. You can disconnect the plugin at any time. We may revoke access or change the available tools to protect the service.

Third-party services and links

The site links to services we do not control, such as Discord and payment providers. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, and its original content are owned by WCO MOB or its licensors. You may use the site for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, resell, or redistribute it without permission, except as allowed by law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site, event listings, or plugin will always be available, accurate, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WCO MOB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the event or service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify WCO MOB against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or end access to the site or plugin if you violate these terms or if we need to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province or territory in which WCO MOB operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site or the plugin changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
