After Action Report (AAR)
Operation: Snowman 3
Area of Operations (AO): Wasaga Beach
Date: [Redacted]
—
Objective
RAK-01 was tasked with organizing and commanding the event, successfully recruiting a team of 50 participants.
Command Post (CP)
Our CP was established in an unfamiliar area situated atop a hill, which provided a tactical advantage as the elevated position made it difficult for the enemy to raid our location.
Enemy Forces
The opposing commander was a formidable foe, maintaining strong control and coordination. Throughout the engagement, both sides had numerous intense exchanges, showcasing tactical skills on both ends.
Key Takeaways
Enemy CO’s Strategy: The enemy commander consistently anticipated our moves, staying three steps ahead. For future engagements, it will be essential to plan and execute with a minimum of four steps ahead to counter this.
Night Operations: Despite the enemy’s superior night assets, we effectively defended against their advances, holding our ground during evening engagements.
Outcome
The game concluded with both teams tied, reflecting an evenly matched and challenging operation for all involved.
