After Action Report: Blackline Helicopter Training Event

Area of Operations: North Bay, Ontario – Canor Pits

Overview:

This year’s Blackline Helicopter Training Event brought together a diverse team with many new participants. The event was held over two days, with both days starting with staging and awaiting the green light to commence.

Day 1 Summary:

Objective: Test strategic setups and counter enemy tactics.

Actions Taken:

Set up a series of traps to counter potential enemy advances. Unfortunately, these initial traps were not successful in impacting the enemy.

Engaged in direct combat with the enemy, who launched a strong offensive. Despite setbacks, we mounted a solid defense and delivered a formidable response.

Weather: Conditions were ideal, clear skies, which helped with visibility and maneuverability.

Day 2 Summary:

Objective: Improve trap deployment and exploit enemy weaknesses.

Actions Taken:

Adjusted tactics and deployed traps effectively, resulting in several enemy casualties and disrupting their advances.

Notable Action: RAK-01 was identified and secured as a High-Value Target (HVT), successfully captured and controlled under our tactical advantage.

Weather: Once again, clear and favorable conditions contributed to operational success.
