Narco State 9 – After Action Report
Faction: Kazoku (The Family)
AO: The Compound
Event Date: August 1–3
Report By: RAK-01 (First Command at The Compound)
Day 1 – Aggressive Start
The Family launched strong, pushing to the enemy’s doorstep within 5 minutes of game start.
Command Post Relocation: RAK-01 chose a new CP location, improving defensive posture, though initial radio comms were disrupted.
Resource Acquisition: Family members discovered large quantities of product and technology.
Intel & Trade: A local journalist sought laptops; the Family had recovered many and successfully sold them all.
New Drug Discovery: A substance known as Djion entered the AO. Multiple packages were recovered and sold to Pablo, the local dealer.
Financial Operations: RAK-01, alongside RAK members and SCOOT, made multiple deposits.
Evening Operations:
The Saudis arrived attempting to establish a gas station.
The Family secured the Fuel Depot and maintained control of the Gas Station throughout the night.
The Bankers’ Area was secured, denying enemy deposits while the Family continued making their own.
Day 2 – Shifting Momentum
Morning Domination: The Family controlled the majority of the field, with superior numbers.
Force Reallocation: To sustain the event, RAK-01 reassigned some Family members to aid other factions.
Turning Point: Attrition hit hard; The Organization rallied and pushed the Family back to the CP road.
Sustained Defense: Despite losses, the Family fought aggressively, counter-pushing attackers throughout the day.
Economic Denial: The Organization effectively prevented many Family deposits, choking income for much of the day.
Final Push: In the closing hour, RAK-01 and the last remaining Family fighters rallied, broke through, and secured one final deposit before end of play.
Unfortunately, on Paper, The Family lost, but in Spirit, each and every player knows who the real Victor is that day.
Key Takeaways
Command Success: RAK-01’s first field command demonstrated initiative with CP relocation, economic dominance early on, and successful adaptation under pressure.
Strengths: Early aggression, resource acquisition, and securing trade networks (journalist, Pablo, gas station).
Challenges: Attrition management, radio comms reliability, and maintaining sustained deposits under enemy counteroffensive.
Notable Victory: Despite late-game setbacks, The Family ended the operation with a successful final deposit, symbolizing resilience under pressure.
